  • Great Album!!

By Omg this thing is stupid
I really enjoyed their new album. Too bad for those who don’t appreciate the hard work that was put into each song. The “super hero” and “terrified” songs are my favorite on this album.
  • Growth

I grew up listening to Atreyu. This isn't the same sound that most of us will remember, and that's ok. This is a different, more mature sound from a band that has already given us so much, and although I wouldn't have minded a heavier album, In Our Wake certainly delivers. I love what Atreyu has brought to the table this time around, like their listeners, the band has grown up too, and the growth and progress they have made deserves much respect and praise. I listened to "In Our Wake" originally, and I was drawn to the rest of the album soonafter, loving every song that I heard. There isn't a bad song on the tracklist, and the ten dollar price tag is well worth the money, which is exactly why you're going to want to add this album to your collection. This is a great work from a great band, embrace the change and enjoy the music.
  • Keep Going!

Screw all these haters that miss the old Atreyu. I can’t find one song on this album that isn’t good. I love there old stuff but every band has to innovate and change there style to grow. Love it!!!

  • Repetitive but motivating

This is my first time listening to atreyu so this isn’t from a hardcore fan perspective so this will probably be a fresh take on the album personally I been listening to this a lot lately when I’m working out or gaming its pretty hyped not hardcore metal however like I was expecting it’s more mainstream radio friendly causal rock with a few exceptions but after listening to it for a few weeks I’ve noticed this album has a pretty repetitive formula for how they handle the chores and how they handle the more aggressive songs I’m personally of the opinion that most rock or motivational music have pretty generic lyrics and with this being both of those things that mean it’s very generic when it comes to writing there are a few tracks that honestly sound the exact same with the exception that the lyrics are different but they use the same formula and patterns as a previous song that being said it wasn’t a bad record I just felt it was repetitive with a few exceptions here and there

  • They Need to Stop Making Music

    By LAChrisPaul
Blind, Deaf, and Dumb is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Atreyu is still somewhat enjoyable sonically, but the minute they tried to go mainstream with Lead Sails, Paper Anchor, they were basically finished. Their music has gotten dumber and dumber. It's like they have nothing to write about, no inspiration, and they're just making the songs someone tells them to make. A Death Grip on Yesterday is one of the best albums in the genre, so I'm not a hater. This is just bad and it will make you like the old albums less. I actually feel sort of insulted by this album. If they have nothing left to say, they should stop making music. It's that simple.
  • Pleasant surprise

    By Jonathan Cefalo
In a time where older bands are coming out with disappointing albums, this was a break from That trend. From Someone who hasn’t listened to Atreyu in a long while, this was a pleasant surprise
  • Great Album 😃

I’d think 4 out of 5 starts is a good placement for my review. Some of it is incredibly cool! I love “In Our Wake”, “Nothing Will Ever Change”, “The Time is Now”, “Anger Left Behind” and “Super Hero” (feat. my favorite singer in Matt Shadows of A7X). The rest will likely take time to grown on me... Great Album Atreyu and I liked the direction you went for this album.
